Behind The Brand
Meet Mick Gerace, the mastermind behind the White Gold Hair Care range. Mick, of Italian origin, started his journey in the hairdressing industry in 1977 when he joined his uncle Anton's renowned hair salon chain in Sydney, Australia. With hard work and dedication, he quickly rose through the ranks to manage Antons Parramatta, one of the largest stores in the family's empire.
But Mick's ambition didn't stop there. Along with his brothers, he went on to create their own salon, La Bionda Baulkham Hills, before branching out solo to establish La Bionda Winston Hills - a thriving business that continues to serve the community to this day. Today, Mick, along with his wife Jeanine, son Domenico, and daughter Maryanna, collaborate to bring salon-quality hair care into Australian homes through White Gold products.
With over five decades of combined hairdressing experience under their belts, Mick and his son Domenic channeled their passion for innovation and created a range of hair care products that go above and beyond the norm. Working alongside Australia’s best chemists and technical experts, they set out to create an exceptional line of Itallian-inspired products that would give customers an unparalleled hair care experience. Sustainability was also at the forefront of the family’s mind, and so they incorporated natural, organic, and plant-based certified ingredients into the entire range, ensuring that the products not only work wonders for hair, but also for the environment.
